This is the first of two AP Physics courses, the other being AP Physics 2. AP Physics 1 is an algebra based, college level introductory course designed to introduce high school students to fundamental principles of physics, and develop their understanding of the physical world through inquiry-based learning and problem-solving. It is a rigorous, challenging, yet rewarding course that lays a strong foundation in physics and prepares students for further studies in the physical sciences or related disciplines.
