AP Latin

This course is designed for students to cultivate their understanding of classics through preparing and translating readings and considering themes in the context of ancient literature as they explore concepts like literary techniques, Roman values, war and empire, leadership, views of non-Romans, history and memory, and human beings and the gods.

 

*The objective of this course is to help students enhance their comprehension of classics by engaging in the preparation and translation of readings and analyzing themes within the context of ancient literature. Throughout the course, students will explore a variety of concepts, including literary techniques, Roman values, war and empire, leadership, perspectives on non-Romans, history and memory, as well as the relationship between human beings and the gods.
