AP Seminar is the first course in the AP Capstone Diploma Program. It is a foundational course that focuses on developing students' abilities to analyze complex issues from multiple perspectives and to conduct independent research. Students engage in collaborative group work, discussions, and presentations. They learn how to evaluate and synthesize information from various sources, identify biases, and construct well-reasoned arguments. The course culminates in a team project and presentation, where students explore a real-world issue from multiple viewpoints.
